93 Highland Avenue – Heritage Restoration
The University of Toronto President’s Estate is a 3.5-acre property with a 32-room residence for the president of the University of Toronto. It is located at 93 Highland Avenue in the Rosedale neighborhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The property overlooks the Park Drive Reservation Ravine and goes from Highland Avenue halfway down to the floor of the ravine.
Scope: exterior envelope repairs including:
Foundation repairs and waterproofing
Replacement and restoration of existing heritage windows Masonry repainting and repairs to existing chimneys
Masonry repairs to existing rubblestone foundation walls. New Roofing
Interior work consisting of: Refinishing of existing wood floors plaster and drywall repairs painting and wood refinishing. New Mechanical and Electrcial systems
Upgrading existing knob and Tube electrical wiring to code compliant wiring including refurbishing existing heritage light fixtures
Exterior hard and soft landscaping, retaining walls, new asphalt, new roof decks with glass and iron railings.
